Cable Connection

  1. PWR/CAN: Connect provided Power and CAN Cable

  2. CAM IN: Future Use

  3. AUX OUT: Connect provided AUX cable

  5. T/S OUT: Future Use

  6. HDMI IN: HDMI input

  7. LVDS-IN: Future Use

  8. OEM IN: Connect the supplied LCD cable to the OEM head unit

  9. OEM OUT: Connect the OEM LCD cable coming from the OEM monitor

  10. MODE: Connect provided toggle button cable

  11. IR: Connect provided infrared receiver cable

  12. DFU: Connect USB Type-C Cable for firmware update

  13. DIP S/W: DIP SWITCH setting

Installation

Step 1 - Run the Power and CAN Harness

The ECU harness includes 2 sets of Power and CAN Cable. Depending on the model year of your car, you'll connect the power, ground, and CAN Bus in different locations:

For Model 3/Y with Intel Atom MCU:

For Model 3/Y with AMD Ryzen MCU:

On the right side of the car, release the upper clip that attaches the middle A-Pillar trim to the vehicle. Then, pull the trim upwards to remove it.

Release the topmost clip on the lower A-pillar trim.

Pull the rearmost part of the lower A-pillar trim upward to release the clips and tabs. Then, pull the entire trim rearward to remove it from the vehicle.

Connect the CAN to the blue CAN port.

Connect the power wire to temperature sensor connector.

Step 2 - Connect the LVDS Cable

Remove the bottom trim.

Disconnect the LVDS connector from the MCU. Connect to to the LCD Extension Cable we provided.

Connect the LCD Cable to the OEM LVDS port.

Step 3 - Connect the IR Receiver and Toggle Button

Step 4 - Connect the Audio Output Signal to FM Transmitter

Step 5 - Set Up the System
